- Learn about the popular, all natural products sold as kratom and 7-OH
- Understand the metabolism of kratom and the addiction potential of the kratom metabolite, 7-OH
- Discuss why kratom and 7-OH withdrawal and treatment are necessary, based on current MOUD recommendations
Michelle Pies, DO is an OHSU Addiction Medicine Fellow. She received her medical degree from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her family medicine residency in Corvallis. She has been working as a hospitalist since 2016.
