Kris works with providers, facilities and communities across several rural/frontier counties to provide complex case consultation, to assist with community collaboration and to provide workforce development and community education activities to enhance the quality of care for and lives of older adults.  Kris is certified as an Alzheimer’s Association Volunteer Presenter, Powerful Tools for Caregivers Class Leader and a WISE Facilitator.

Britta Willson aims to live compassionately and contemplatively through a life of service to older generations. She has served on the Oregon Governor’s Commission on Senior Services, is the co-chair for the Aging in the Gorge Alliance/Alianza de la Tercera Edad, and the lead for the Dementia Friendly and Age Friendly in the Gorge initiatives. She received her BA in Human Studies from Marylhurst University and MA in Gerontology from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. Britta has over 20 years of experience working with older adults and people with disabilities. She is passionate about confronting ageism and providing meaningful educational opportunities for adults navigating aging in its physical, emotional, and social dimensions.
